Join us to make a difference!
Three Valleys Community Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the Power of Collaboration Campaign – a special challenge for corporations and businesses in our region.
Thanks to a generous lead gift by Amazon, this unique opportunity launches the creation of our first grant-making fund to target key community issues and strengthen 3VCF as a philanthropic and geographic anchor.
Join 3VCF to bring the collaborative power of our local corporations together to support community causes and local needs. With every gift received, 3VCF will set aside 50 percent for the Power of Collaboration Campaign – with grantmaking designed to address some of the most compelling and complex issues in our area.
Our goal? To provide $500,000 to local nonprofits via grantmaking in 2023.
The Power of Collaboration Campaign will focus on the community causes central to the vitality of our region – areas like food insecurity, homelessness and housing affordability, education, health and human services and the arts. It will also supplement many of the individual commitments made by local donors in our region who are interested in giving, granting, and growing our community.
Three Valleys Community Foundation seeks to maximize these opportunities – by providing thoughtful funding, informed giving and collaborative action on the most pressing issues in our region. Our guiding principles center around trust, transparency, and a Tri-Valley focus (Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Sunol). We believe in the power of three – and what can be accomplished when all in our Three Valleys (Amador, Livermore and San Ramon) work together – further strengthening our overall impact.
“Amazon is committed to providing support to the communities where employees and customers live and work. Three Valleys Community Foundation has the potential to transform the impact of the Tri-Valley’s philanthropic generosity. We know that organizations like these can act as a catalyst and convener among donors, non-profits, and the community to create exponential impact. Amazon is proud to offer a foundational investment towards the creation of Three Valleys Community Foundation and the Power of Collaboration Fund. We challenge other employers in the Tri-Valley to do the same.”
