Who we are

Three Valleys Community Foundation works with donors and nonprofits to achieve their impact goals through inclusive leadership, thoughtful funding, informed giving, and collaborative action. We serve the entire Tri-Valley region, including the communities of Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Sunol.

Contact forms

When people complete our contact form, our nonprofit directory form, or another web form on this site, we will collect the information provided to us through the from. We collect this information so that we may contact you at your request and provide your nonprofit information in our directory. This information may include your organization name, website address, contact email address, phone number and details about your organization. We do not share or sell this information to any third parties.

We keep contact form submission data indefinitely for contact purposes only.

If you fill out a form and would like your form details deleted from our records please contact us directly to make this request. All requests to have information removed from our records will be fulfilled.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Google Analytics and Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics which employs the following cookies to log website traffic and usage data:

  • _ga – Used to distinguish users. (expiration time: 2 years)
  • _gid – Used to distinguish users. (expiration time: 24 hours)
  • _gat – Used to throttle request rate. If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc_gtm_. (expiration time: 1 minute)
  • AMP_TOKEN – Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. (expiration time: 30 seconds to 1 year)
  • _gac_ – Contains campaign related information for the user. If you have linked your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, Google Ads website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out. Learn more. (expiration time: 90 days)

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Newsletter

If you sign-up for our Newsletter we will collect your email address through our Newsletter service provider. You may unsubscribe or opt-out of any newsletter mailing at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email.

Who we share your data with

We do not share or sell any personal data or information we collect with third parties.

By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
