Three Valleys Community Foundation to Host Silver Anniversary Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellowship Breakfast & Awards
Monday, January 26, 2026 | 8:00–9:30 AM
Palm Event Center in the Vineyards, Pleasanton
Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF) is honored to host the 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellowship Breakfast & Awards, a beloved Tri-Valley tradition marking a milestone Silver Anniversary. This highly anticipated event will take place on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 8:00–9:30 AM at the Palm Event Center in the Vineyards.
Continuing a cherished community legacy previously hosted by organizations including Tri-Valley Y and the Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative, 3VCF proudly carries this tradition forward, expanding its reach to reflect and represent the entire Three Valleys region and its enduring spirit of unity.
This year’s theme, “The Fierce Urgency of Now,” draws from one of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s most memorable and powerful calls to action:
“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
A Gathering for Reflection, Fellowship, and Community
The Silver Anniversary Breakfast will feature an inspiring keynote address from William “Bubba” Paris, three-time Super Bowl Champion for the San Francisco 49ers and motivational speaker, whose empowering message reminds audiences that they are equipped with everything they need to meet the challenges of the moment. Tim Sbranti, respected community leader, 3VCF Advisor, and former Mayor of Dublin, will serve as emcee, as he has done for several years.
Guests will enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast with a curated, locally sourced menu created especially for this occasion, including coffee, tea, and mimosa stations — a celebratory spread designed to nourish both body and spirit.
Attendees are encouraged to reserve their seats early at the discounted rate of $75 per person through January 1, 2026. Sponsorship packages are available to support the Legacy and Young Philanthropist awards and honoree seating. There is a range of sponsor benefits including community and media recognition, onstage acknowledgement, and priority seating.
Honoring Legacy and Leadership Across the Region
For the first time, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Awards will recognize changemakers from each of the communities that comprise the Three Valleys region — including Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Sunol. These awards celebrate individuals whose leadership and service exemplify Dr. King’s ideals of justice, courage, and hope in action.
Nominations are now open for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Awards.
We received 49 nominations for the inaugural 3VCF Young Philanthropist Award, recognizing youth who are creating meaningful change through innovation, compassion, and service.

“Dr. King’s call to embrace the ‘fierce urgency of now’ speaks directly to the heart of community philanthropy. At 3VCF, we believe the time for positive action is always now — to give where you live, to strengthen connection, to lead with compassion, and to build belonging across all three valleys. This Silver Anniversary event invites us to honor Dr. King’s legacy not just through words, but through deeds that create lasting impact.”
