Tri-Valley Anti-Poverty Collaborative: Mental Health Matters

The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) invites you to attend the “Mental Health Matters” forum, a vital community event focused on critical mental health issues in the Tri-Valley region. Mark your calendar for Thursday, , October 24, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rosewood Commons Conference Center in Pleasanton.
This half-day forum will feature leading experts in mental health, including:
• Dr. Thomas Insel: Former Director of the National Institute of Mental Health, he will discuss mental health policy and community solutions.
• Alex Briscoe: Co-founder of the California Children’s Trust, he will provide insights on California’s mental health policies.
• Dr. Karyn Tribble: Alameda County Director of Public Health, she will cover mental health trends specific to our region.
The event will also include a nonprofit panel discussion with local organizations addressing mental health services for children, seniors, veterans, and more.

This event is free and open to the public. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborate on mental health solutions in our community.
