The Pleasanton-based ALS CURE Project 501c3 charity is announcing the 3rd annual Country Fest to Cure ALS country music concert events on Saturday, October 21st at the Campos Family Vineyard in Byron and on Sunday, October 22nd at the Mary Stuart Rogers Theater in Modesto. All proceeds will benefit the ALS CURE Project’s mission to cure ALS.
The Boots & Spurs country music festival will kick off this year’s festivities with an extended lineup featuring local country music favorites, Toree McGee, the Whiskey Hillbillies, and the Carousel Cowboys opening the event at 3pm on Saturday, October 21st at the welcoming Campos Family Vineyards. Nashville recording artists Josh Melton and Jason Blaine will bring their high energy county music sounds to headline Boots & Spurs. Josh will be performing with his smooth baritone voice delivering songs from his newly released album titled “Bottom of the Lake” along with other classic country hits. Canadian country music star, Jason Blaine (www.jasonblaine.ca) will headline Boots & Spurs, bringing his driving country music beat to the Campos stage and treating the audience to country hits and songs from his newly released album including top 40 smash single “The Road That Raised You Up” and the timeless favorite “Dance With My Daughter.” Always a fan favorite, thrilling fans with his vocals and guitar playing, this will be Jason’s third consecutive year playing Country Fest to Cure ALS.
