The Heart of the TriValley Gala
The Heart of the Tri-Valley Gala is Open Heart Kitchen’s signature annual fundraising event held at Casa Real Events Center at Ruby Hill. The event brings together community leaders, local businesses, and supporters to advance Open Heart Kitchen’s mission of equitable access to nutritious food today, while building a food-secure tomorrow. In addition to providing free, nutritious meals to anyone in need, Open Heart Kitchen provides overnight shelter to 30 unhoused guests year-round. Held each fall, the gala raises critical funds that directly support their meal programs and food distribution efforts across the Tri-Valley, ensuring that thousands of individuals and families have consistent access to food, dignity, and hope. The evening features a shared meal, storytelling, music, and opportunities for more than 350 guests to engage more deeply with the impact of their work. Proceeds from the event help sustain and expand services that address food insecurity and homelessness in our community. Our vibrant Three Valleys Region is home to over 300 nonprofits providing direct service to our community. These local nonprofits host a number of engaging community and fundraising events, both free and ticketed, in support of a wide range of worthy causes.
