Community Foundations exist to support community causes and local nonprofits. To that end, Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF) and Embarcadero Media Foundation partnered to host a special event focused on preserving and reinvesting in local journalism. The Preserve & Invest in Local Journalism event took place on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Firehouse Arts Center.
As part of a growing movement to revitalize the civic infrastructure that local media provides, 3VCF and Embarcadero Media Foundation proudly presented an exclusive screening of the documentary Stripped for Parts: American Journalism on the Brink, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion.
