Donna Kamp McMillion, the visionary behind the unique book project “Cruising Down Memory Lane: Stories of Pleasanton in the 1950s,” has partnered with Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF) to ensure the legacy of the Tri-Valley’s history fuels future generations of storytellers and journalists at Amador Valley High School. Thanks to 3VCF’s fund, “Stories from Pleasanton’s Past: Powering the Future,” all proceeds from book sales benefit this group of youth journalists, who recently received a $10,000 donation to further their work. The Livermore Public Library will soon host a panel of five Pleasanton storytellers whose lives are featured in “Cruising Down Memory Lane: Stories of Pleasanton in the 1950s.”
