A letter to our growing community

Building a transformative community - Together!

To our new fund holders, nonprofit partners and donors, I extend a warm welcome and express my heartfelt gratitude for your commitment to our region. It’s heartwarming to see our foundation community growing and granting! Through our collective efforts and dedication, 3VCF is able to explore the art of the possible. Impact is important – and I’m pleased to highlight our successes as well as share the opportunities ahead.

Our Foundation is steadily moving into the next phase. Together, we have embraced the challenge of creating a community foundation by laying the groundwork, assessing community needs, and cultivating strong relationships that will ensure we remain viable. We now have an opportunity to take local philanthropy to the next level and inspire transformational change.

We cannot do it alone – in fact we shouldn’t work in isolation – because in order for a community foundation to live up to its name, it must truly represent and be an integral part of the region it serves.

That’s why we invite all community members, who work or reside in our Three Valleys, to join a growing number of local corporations and individual donors, helping us solidify our commitment to our community. By giving today, you will ensure our budding foundation blossoms and our impact grows.

Given the understanding that “people support what they help create,” you can help fortify our foundation, and in doing so, boost our overall sense of community and belonging. It will truly take all of us, working together, to make a difference – and to give, grant and grow!

Thank you in advance for supporting our community in such a visible and supportive way.

Warm Regards,

Kelly Bowers, Ed.D.
CEO / President
